Ambulance District Promotes Two Employees
Callaway County Ambulance District recently promoted two employees.
Josh Loyd, a 9 year veteran of the District was promoted to the District's Training Officer. Loyd is succeeding Kelly Drennan in the position.
Loyd started his career with the District as an EMT before completing paramedic school and advancing to a staff paramedic position. Loyd was later promoted to Relief Shift Supervisor and Field Training Officer. Loyd has a passion for learning and teaching others, making him an natural fit for the position. Loyd will be responsible for training the District's EMTs and paramedics, teaching EMT classes to those wishing to enter into Emergency Medical Services, coordinating the fire district continuing education programs, coordinating public relations and education, and maintaining the District Public Access Defibrillation Program.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys scuba diving, often traveling to Mexico to dive its clear blue waters. Josh and his wife, Christina, reside in Mexico, Missouri.
Mike Lindsay, a 25 year veteran of the District was promoted to Relief Shift Supervisor. Lindsay will serve as the Relief Shift Supervisor on A-Shift.
Lindsay started his career with the District as an EMT, and served in that capacity until completing paramedic school just over a year ago and advancing to a staff paramedic position. Lindsay served as a Field Training Officer, working with new employees to ensure their integration into the District was successful. Lindsay was recommended for promotion by the District's Shift Supervisors following a panel interview of three candidates. Lindsay's years of experience and familiarization with the District's operational policies and procedures make him an excellent fit in this position. Lindsay will be responsible for assisting the shift supervisor on a daily basis and will fill in as needed in the absence of a Shift Supervisor.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping. Mike and his wife, Darla, reside in Clark, Missouri.
